The Island Health Practice is a GP surgery serving over 15,200 patients on the Isle of Dogs, East London. With the recently updated guidelines on GP practice websites by NHS Digital, the IHP needed a brand refresh to align their website with the updated guidelines and establish a new, consistent brand across all media to enhance patient care.
Using the practice’s ethos of easy, accessible healthcare, my primary focus was to design a user-friendly website. Adhering to NHS Digital guidelines and WCAG-3 accessibility standards, I used Webflow to build a clean modular layout allowing for easy accessibility and also allowed the Island Health team to easily update information, ensuring the website remains a user-friendly and up-to-date online presence, further enhancing patient care and communication.
I refreshed the previous branding to create something that was still recognisable to patients but can now work seamlessly across all elements of the practice’s comms.
The new website now receives over 30,000 visits per year and has, on average, made it quicker for patients to find what they’re looking for.
