Problem: To design a recruitment poster for the Aberfeldy GP Practice in Tower Hamlets.
Solution: The geographic location of the practice means that it is cut off from the rest of the borough in a heavily built-up area and is joked about being a village in the middle of east London. I set out to create something that parodied old advertisements for trips to the country by portraying the idea of a “village life”. I wanted to create the feeling of an idyllic countryside but with landmarks from the area such as the iconic ‘Gold Finger’ Balfron Tower and the resident geese!
