Problem: A self initiated project to brand a new and exciting theatre in Stratford, London. Using the unique architecture of the building and also reflecting on the historical and multicultural aspects of the local area.
Solution: “The Red Crate” was a proposed sister building to The Shed at the National Theatre. I created a brand that represents The Red Crate as both a multicultural and current theatre. Using the structure of plastic crates as inspiration for the visuals of the theatre, I created a coherent visual language that is versatile across all elements of the branding.
